Quality Control Manager

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team in Valley, Douglas County, Nebraska. This full-time, on-site role is central to upholding the standards behind technology that helps feed a growing population, expand reliable and renewable energy, and strengthen connectivity around the world.

About the Role

As Quality Control Manager at Valmont Industries, you will lead the inspection, testing, and continuous improvement of products and processes at our Valley, Nebraska facility. You'll champion a culture of quality, partner across operations and engineering, and ensure that every deliverable reflects the reliability our customers depend on.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day quality control activities and inspection workflows across production.
• Establish, document, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Lead and develop a team of quality professionals, providing coaching and clear direction.
• Identify root causes of defects and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report performance trends to leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a closely related field, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing or directing a quality team.
• Strong knowledge of inspection methods, testing techniques, and quality management practices.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and a process-improvement mindset.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Availability to work on-site at the Valley, Douglas County location (this position is not remote).
