Product Safety Engineer

About the Role

As a Product Safety Engineer based on-site in Littleton, MA, you will play a central part in evaluating products against applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements. Working within the global Eurofins US Network, you'll apply engineering rigor to testing, assessment, and certification activities that protect consumers and support clients across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct product safety evaluations, testing, and compliance assessments in line with relevant industry and regulatory standards.
• Interpret technical specifications and document findings clearly for clients and internal teams.
• Identify potential safety risks and recommend corrective actions or design improvements.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff, project managers, and clients to keep certification projects on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records and reports that withstand technical and regulatory scrutiny.

Qualifications

• A background in engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Familiarity with product safety standards, compliance testing, or regulatory certification processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication for reporting results and advising clients.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Littleton, Middlesex County, MA.
