Associate General Counsel, Compliance

isolved is hiring a full-time Associate General Counsel, Compliance to join its legal team on-site in Marvin, Union County. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned attorney who thrives at the intersection of regulatory strategy, risk management, and business partnership within a leading human capital management organization.

About the Role

As Associate General Counsel, Compliance at isolved, you will help shape and steward the company's compliance program, advising leadership on the evolving legal and regulatory landscape that affects HCM, payroll, and workforce technology. You will translate complex requirements into practical guidance that protects the business while enabling growth across isolved's U.S. and international operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve corporate compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Advise executives and cross-functional teams on regulatory obligations, emerging laws, and associated risks.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes relevant to HCM, payroll, and data privacy, and recommend responsive action.
• Support investigations, audits, and remediation efforts, ensuring timely and well-documented resolution.
• Deliver compliance training and counsel to internal stakeholders to foster a culture of integrity.
• Partner with the broader legal department on contracts, governance, and risk matters as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in good standing with a state bar.
• Substantial experience practicing compliance, regulatory, or corporate law, ideally in technology, financial services, or HCM-adjacent industries.
• Strong command of compliance frameworks, risk assessment, and regulatory analysis.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and the ability to advise senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
• Willingness to work on-site in Marvin, Union County (this role is not remote).
