General Production – 2nd Shift

About the Role

This General Production - 2nd Shift position (classified as Operator C - General Production) supports day-to-day manufacturing operations within an assigned Business Unit. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, you will handle the general production tasks that keep production running smoothly and safely. This is a non-exempt, full-time, on-site opportunity in Niles, Berrien County — not a remote role. The base pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with a $3.00 shift premium for the 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general production functions tied to the manufacturing and assembly process at Modineer Company.
• Operate equipment and perform production tasks according to standard work instructions and quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each shift.
• Follow direction from the Department Supervisor and collaborate with fellow team members on the production floor.
• Support overtime requirements as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work an assigned 2nd shift manufacturing schedule — typically five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on production work in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Capacity to follow instructions, stay on task, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to work on-site in Niles, Berrien County.
