Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for drywall and acoustical scopes of work.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine material and labor requirements.
- Develop competitive bids and detailed proposals for upcoming projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to confirm pricing and scope.
- Support the estimating process from initial inquiry through final bid submission.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction estimating, ideally within the drywall and acoustical trades.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, solid math skills, and dependable organizational habits.
- Willingness to work on-site in Lansing, Ingham County on a full-time basis.
- A drive to innovate and a genuine passion for building.
