About the Role
Dollar General Fleet is hiring an experienced Regional CDL-A Truck Driver based in Ashland, Ashland County. In this regional driving position, you'll move freight along established routes that keep you close to home, earning competitive per-mile pay backed by one of retail's most recognized names. If you hold a CDL-A and want consistent regional work with weekly home time, this role is designed for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently along assigned regional routes
- Complete pickups, deliveries, and stops while following company and DOT safety standards
- Maintain accurate trip logs and adhere to hours-of-service regulations
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Support reliable, on-time delivery to keep the Dollar General supply chain running
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Clean and safe driving record
- Willingness to run regional routes with weekly home time
Pay & Benefits
- Earn up to $100,000 per year with 2 years of experience
- Per-mile pay of 76 to 79 CPM, paid weekly
- Additional mile and stop pay
- Quarterly and annual safety bonus opportunities
- Weekly home time on regional routes
