About the Role
As an Aquatics Lifeguard at Life Time, you'll be the watchful presence that keeps our recreational and lap pools safe for members of all ages. This year-round, full-time position blends vigilant water safety with friendly, member-first service across our indoor and outdoor aquatics spaces, including pool decks and water slides. If you're alert, dependable, and energized by a fast-paced environment, this is the place to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise swimmers and enforce safety standards across indoor and outdoor recreational and lap pools.
- Keep a constant watch over the pool deck and ensure the safe operation of water slides.
- Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies, applying proper rescue and first-aid procedures.
- Deliver welcoming, attentive customer service to members and guests throughout the aquatics area.
- Support signature aquatics programming and special events such as Dive-in Movies and Poolapalooza.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented pool environment.
Qualifications
- A safety-focused mindset paired with a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Ability to stay attentive and perform reliably in a busy, high-energy setting.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Comfort working both indoors and outdoors across varying conditions.
- Availability for a full-time, year-round schedule.
