About the Role

As a Senior Teller at Northern Trust in Chicago, Cook County, you will be a trusted front-line representative responsible for delivering accurate, professional, and personalized banking transactions. Key Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and related banking transactions with accuracy and care.
• Greet and assist clients in person, addressing inquiries and resolving routine account matters.
• Balance cash drawers, verify totals, and maintain meticulous transaction records.
• Uphold security, compliance, and confidentiality standards at every step.
• Support and mentor fellow tellers, sharing best practices to strengthen branch performance.
• Identify opportunities to connect clients with appropriate Northern Trust services and specialists.

Qualifications

• Prior teller, cash-handling, or customer-facing banking experience.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a client-first environment.
• Ability to follow security protocols and regulatory requirements consistently.
• Reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Authorization to work on-site in Chicago, Cook County.
