Autodesk is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager, Data Acquisition to join its Generative AI Accelerator (GAIA) team on-site in Portland, Multnomah County. This full-time role puts you at the center of how Autodesk sources, structures, and scales the data that powers next-generation generative AI for design.

About the Role

GAIA is a cross-divisional effort building generative AI capabilities on foundation models trained largely from Autodesk customer content. As Senior Technical Product Manager, Data Acquisition, you will own the strategy and execution behind acquiring, curating, and operationalizing the large-scale datasets that fuel model training and product experimentation in Portland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the product roadmap for data acquisition supporting generative and multi-modal model development.
  • Partner with engineering, research, and platform teams to source, organize, and pipeline massive design datasets.
  • Translate model-training and experimentation needs into clear data requirements and prioritized deliverables.
  • Drive platform capabilities that make customer-derived content usable, governed, and ready for foundation model work.
  • Collaborate across divisions to align data initiatives with broader GAIA goals and innovative user experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a technical product manager, ideally within data platforms, machine learning, or AI-driven products.
  • Strong grasp of data acquisition, pipelines, and the lifecycle of large training datasets.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, foundation models, or multi-modal systems and the data they depend on.
  • Ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders across cross-functional, cross-divisional teams.
  • Comfortable operating in an exploratory, fast-moving initiative where experimentation is the norm.
