About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician I with Lifestyle Communities in Albany, Athens County, you'll join the on-site Maintenance department and report directly to the Maintenance Manager. This non-exempt, full-time position is ideal for a dependable problem-solver who enjoys variety in their workday and wants to grow their technical trade skills while making a tangible difference for the people who live in our communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, service requests, and repairs across community apartments, amenities, and common areas.
• Diagnose and resolve basic issues involving plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and general upkeep.
• Support turnover and make-ready work to prepare units for incoming residents.
• Help keep grounds, equipment, and shared spaces clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident maintenance needs, escalating complex matters to the Maintenance Manager when appropriate.
• Follow safety standards and contribute to a positive, connected community experience.

Qualifications

• A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn entry-level maintenance trades.
• Familiarity with general repair, basic plumbing, and electrical fundamentals is a plus.
• Strong reliability, attention to detail, and solid communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Albany, Athens County and perform the physical tasks the role requires.
• A team-first attitude and a genuine interest in serving residents well.
