About the Role
As a Contract Specialist, you will support the full process of structuring, negotiating, and administering contracts and subcontracts. Working closely with internal teams, government agencies, and prime contractors, you will help ensure every agreement is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the analysis, preparation, negotiation, and ongoing administration of contracts and subcontracts.
- Research and review specifications and supporting documentation to move procurement requests forward.
- Respond promptly to requests for proposals (RFPs) received from government clients and prime contractors.
- Prepare or obtain required forms and documentation, including representations and certifications, executive compensation disclosures, certificates of insurance, and W9s.
- Review solicitations and related correspondence to confirm completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain organized records to keep contract activity on schedule and audit-ready.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling contract documentation.
- Ability to interpret solicitations, specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with government and prime contractor RFP processes is highly valued.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to meet competing deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
