Chemical Production Operator

Trident Consulting is hiring a Chemical Production Operator to join a client site in Martin, Stephens County, South Carolina (29836), supporting a global leader in business and technology services. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a structured manufacturing environment.

About the Role

As a Chemical Production Operator, you will help keep production running safely and efficiently at our client's Martin, SC facility. The position is a 12-month contract paid at $20.00 per hour on W2, with a steady weekday schedule and the chance to contribute to a respected industry operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical production equipment to meet output and quality targets.
• Follow established safety procedures, standard operating practices, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
• Track process readings, record production data, and report any irregularities promptly.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to keep workflows on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a production or chemical operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written instructions, document results accurately, and communicate clearly.
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work in an onsite plant environment.
• Availability to work the regular Monday through Friday schedule, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a W2 basis.
