About the Role
As an Environmental Remediation Project Manager based in one of AECOM's Northern California offices, you will guide a portfolio of environmental projects from start to finish. This full-time, on-site position in Oakland offers the chance to strengthen your project leadership skills while delivering measurable results for clients and the firm. You will own the success of multiple concurrent projects, balancing schedule, budget, and quality against clearly defined performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct a group of projects and portfolios within AECOM's Environmental business line, ensuring each meets its objectives.
- Track and achieve internal and client-facing key performance indicators (KPIs) across every assignment.
- Oversee day-to-day project performance, keeping work aligned with goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate teams and resources to deliver remediation outcomes that satisfy client expectations.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, communicating progress and resolving issues proactively.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing environmental or remediation projects, ideally within a consulting or engineering setting.
- Proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting KPIs and project goals.
- Strong technical foundation paired with the project management skills to lead teams and portfolios.
- Willingness to work on-site in Northern California, with this role based in Oakland, Alameda County.
