We are hiring expert Latvian transcribers to convert audio recordings into precise, conventionally formatted written transcripts, working at the level of expert linguistic judgment.
Requirements
- Native fluency in Latvian with lifelong residence or deep immersion in Latvia
- Mastery of current Latvian orthography including diacritics
- Ability to distinguish Central, Livonian, and High Latvian varieties
- Comfortable transcribing the Latvian tonal accent system per project conventions
- At least two years of professional transcription, captioning, court reporting, broadcast, translation, or linguistic annotation experience
