Root is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead their procurement function as a strategic, technology-enabled partner to the business. The role will involve complex sourcing, contracting, and vendor management work, as well as coaching procurement team members and improving processes and systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or related experience
- Experience managing, coaching, or developing procurement professionals or cross-functional project teams
- Strong commercial and contracting judgment
- Experience working with Legal, Finance, InfoSec, Privacy, IT, Accounting, business leaders, and external vendors
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to manage performance
- Experience with procurement orchestration, CLM, sourcing, workflow, or contract repository tools
