PLM Development Consultant – Remote in Mexico

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PLM Developer with 3+ years of experience to join a long-term enterprise project. This role focuses on developing, customizing, and implementing PLM solutions, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, configure, and deploy PLM solutions using Windchill (versions 12 or 13).
  • Provide PLM domain expertise in CAD Data Management, Parts & BOM Management, and Change Management.
  • Design and implement integrations between PLM systems and ERP/MES platforms.
  • Work with PTC tools such as Windchill, ProjectLink, MPMLink, Creo View, and Creo Parametric.
  • Support large-scale enterprise PLM implementations and enhancements.
  • Analyze requirements, estimate development effort, and propose technical solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance across PLM applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering and manufacturing environments.

Technical Skills Required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Windchill development and implementation.
  • Strong experience with Windchill APIs and enterprise PLM environments.
  • Proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, Spring Framework.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with SOAP & REST Web Services.
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases and development using Eclipse.
  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
  • Experience with CAD assemblies (EPMDocument, BuildHistory) and data management.
  • Background working with PLM, CAD, or MES systems in large organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ThingWorx and/or PTC Navigate.
  • Knowledge of PartsLink Classification configuration.
  • Familiarity with Integrity, ProjectLink, or MPMLink.
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering-driven environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work on long-term projects.

Location & Schedule

Location: Remote in Mexico
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Qualifications

  • Only for residents in Mexico with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced English C1-C2
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, commitment, and leadership potential.
  • Interest in long-term growth within the PLM development and administration space.
