Ameresco Canada has an immediate opening for a Construction Site Coordinator to work with our Operations team during the design, implementation, and commissioning stages of our major construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring daily construction activities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Provide ongoing contact, communication and coordination with Ameresco customers and subcontractors to ensure the construction phase is appropriately managed.
- Prepare and maintain essential site documents including drawings, specifications, submittals, requests for information (RFI’s), and progress reports.
- Provide status updates and remedies to delays and other concerns or questions to customers and subcontractors on a regular basis.
- Attend weekly construction meetings.
- Assist project engineers, project managers, and construction managers with construction management and commissioning.
- Assist project managers in developing & updating project plans.
- Assist with project close-out requirements.
- Manage electronic documents on corporate server and ftp site.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post Secondary Education in engineering, technology, and/or related fields.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in planning, scheduling, project coordination and/or document coordination for construction projects.
- Strong abilities to manage, organize, and maintain large volumes of documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Skilled with MS Excel.
- Experience with project management software tools like Procore or Autodesk an asset.
