The Business Manager is responsible for driving customer development, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring revenue growth within a designated territory. The role involves close collaboration with regional teams, shared services, and senior management to deliver GeoSoftware solutions tailored to local market needs.

Requirements

  • Conduct Market Opportunity Assessments (MOA) and adapt strategies to local trends.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans targeting senior client leadership.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, negotiation, delivery, and collection.
  • Expand account base with a focus on software licenses and M&S services.
  • Utilize strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Sandler).
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to establish and implement sales training programs focused on developing critical competencies in sales, management, and support roles.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
  • Identify and address client training needs.
  • Manage expectations to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
  • Track record of cultivating and maintaining VP and C-level relationships.
  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to meet quotas.
  • Drive year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and revenue recognition.
  • Manage CRM data, forecasts, and overdue payments.
  • Handle region-specific financial considerations (e.g., withholding tax).
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance (contracts, NDAs, etc.).
  • Coordinate timely invoicing and payment collection.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Represent GeoSoftware at industry events and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation and campaigns.
