At Neon, we’re looking for a highly objective Staff Data Scientist I to lead the development and evolution of our top-notch credit risk models from end to end. The successful candidate will have solid technical maturity, prefer agile problem-solving, and take pride in seeing their models running consistently and scalably in production environments.
Requirements
- Practical Experience in Production: Solid history of putting large-scale tabular models into real production environments.
- Boosting Algorithms: Deep practical knowledge of developing and calibrating algorithms like XGBoost and LightGBM.
- Interpretability Tools: Advanced technical knowledge of using explanation frameworks, specifically SHAP.
- SQL Sovereignty: Ability to perform complex data manipulation directly, agile, and highly resolutive (constructing clean queries, complex aggregations, and optimization).
- Intermediate English.
