About Our Client:

Our client, a growing educational and professional development organization, is seeking an experienced Career Coach (Instructor) to train and mentor students on career development, employability skills, job search strategies, and professional growth.

This role is ideal for a career development professional who is passionate about helping students and aspiring professionals build successful careers through practical coaching, mentorship, and real-world career guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging training sessions on career development, employability, and professional growth strategies.
  • Guide students on career planning, goal setting, and professional development pathways.
  • Teach practical job search techniques including networking, personal branding, and interview preparation.
  • Support students in developing strong CVs, resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles.
  • Share practical industry insights, career experiences, and workforce trends with students.
  • Conduct workshops on workplace readiness, communication, leadership, and soft skills development.
  • Provide mentorship and one-on-one career coaching support to students.
  • Assist students in identifying career opportunities aligned with their skills and interests.
  • Develop instructional materials, exercises, presentations, and career development resources.
  • Stay updated on employment trends, hiring practices, and evolving workplace expectations.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, Communication, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of practical experience in career coaching, recruitment, talent development, HR, training, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of career development strategies, job search processes, and workforce readiness.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, training, or facilitating workshops is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to guide and motivate students from diverse professional backgrounds.
  • Strong knowledge of CV writing, interview preparation, LinkedIn optimization, and professional branding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual communication tools.
  • Passion for mentoring and helping individuals achieve career success.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students, graduates, or early-career professionals.
  • Background in recruitment, talent acquisition, learning and development, or workforce training.
  • Professional certifications in career coaching, HR, or training are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with remote work trends and virtual career coaching techniques.

Benefits
