Product Manager

  • Coordinating the work of a team developing a complex payments system, and managing day-to-day workflows at an operational level

  • Prioritizing, iteratively breaking down, tracking development tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Identifying and managing business requirements and development needs, as well as recognizing blockers and supporting their resolution

  • Maintaining active communication with stakeholders – speaking the language of both the business side and the developers

  • Interpreting relevant metrics and reports, and supporting decision-making based on these (Tableau, JIRA, Confluence)

  • Facilitating and planning workflows based on Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies

  • Regular collaboration with US-based colleagues (2–3 times per week, typically in the early evening)

Requirements

  • Proficient, advanced English and Hungarian language skills, both spoken and written

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a Product Manager / Product Owner role, preferably in an agile software development or technical environment

  • Experience in overseeing and coordinating the full product lifecycle

  • Hands-on knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology, with experience in a similar working environment

  • Sound architectural thinking – understanding technical relationships and system integrations

  • Proficiency in iteratively breaking down projects, tracking progress, and identifying blockers

  • Ability to interpret relevant metrics and support decision-making

  • Strong stakeholder management skills: accurately understanding, managing, and aligning needs

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong time management

  • Solution-oriented, collaborative attitude and a servant leadership mindset

  • Flexibility and change management capability, with the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment

  • Commitment, results-driven approach, and availability for international collaboration

We’d love it if you also have:

  • Experience with a risk assessment mindset

  • Prior involvement in process improvement

  • Proficient use of JIRA and Confluence

  • Experience applying AI tools – whether in prompting, automation, or supporting development/PM processes with AI
