Job Title: Machine Translation (MT) & GenAI Engineer / Kiro-Vibe Engineering Specialist
Role Overview
CTS is seeking a highly skilled Machine Translation (MT) and Generative AI Engineer with hands-on experience in modern translation platforms, AI-powered language solutions, and Kiro/Vibe engineering practices. The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, and optimize intelligent translation and multilingual content workflows leveraging machine translation technologies, large language models (LLMs), and AI-driven automation frameworks.
This role requires expertise in machine translation ecosystems, GenAI technologies, prompt engineering, workflow orchestration, and scalable language processing solutions. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and AI teams to deliver enterprise-grade multilingual and localization capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine translation and localization solutions.
- Integrate MT platforms such as DeepL, Google Translate, Microsoft Translator, Amazon Translate, Smartling, Phrase, or equivalent translation technologies.
- Develop GenAI-powered translation workflows using LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Build and optimize AI-assisted content generation, translation, summarization, and localization pipelines.
- Apply Kiro/Vibe engineering principles to create scalable, reusable, and maintainable AI language solutions.
- Develop APIs and integrations between translation platforms, content management systems, and enterprise applications.
- Design prompt engineering frameworks and translation quality evaluation processes.
- Implement automated translation quality assurance and post-editing workflows.
- Collaborate with solution architects and business teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Optimize translation performance, latency, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor AI model performance and continuously improve translation quality.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and enterprise governance standards.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering or AI engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Machine Translation (MT) platforms and multilingual systems.
- Strong experience integrating translation services such as:
- DeepL
- Google Cloud Translation API
- Microsoft Translator
- Amazon Translate
- Smartling
- Phrase
- Lokalise
- SDL Trados / RWS technologies
- Experience building GenAI applications using:
- OpenAI GPT models
- Anthropic Claude
- Google Gemini
- Meta Llama
- Azure OpenAI
- Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM optimization.
- Experience implementing RAG architectures and vector search solutions.
- Proficiency in Python development.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with:
- LangChain
- LangGraph
- Semantic Kernel
- LlamaIndex
- Experience with vector databases:
- Pinecone
- Weaviate
- ChromaDB
- FAISS
- Azure AI Search
- Strong understanding of NLP and multilingual AI systems.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
