About the role
Our client is seeking a Paralegal to join their busy transactional practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to gain broad exposure across a range of practice areas, providing high-quality support to their Corporate, Private Wealth, and Banking and Finance teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting fee earners with a diverse and stimulating caseload.
Day-to-day duties will include
- Assisting Partners and Associates as needed, providing seamless support
- Drafting and reviewing standard agreements and documents
- Reviewing and drafting legal documents across corporate, finance and private wealth
- Undertaking legal research
- Managing due diligence
- Making all necessary filings with internal and external bodies
- Keeping track of deadlines
- Liaising with Clients as appropriate and in accordance with a fee earner’s instructions and firm policies
- Taking responsibility for a wide range of tasks/projects as required by the partners/lawyers in the group
What you need
- To have completed your LLB or equivalent, or have a Paralegal certification with 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills, research skills, and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, dealing professionally and politely with people internally and externally.
- Comfortable working in dynamic settings and adjusting to evolving demands
