Senior Business Analyst – Healthcare Analytics
About Our Client
We are recruiting for a rapidly growing healthcare provider and payor analytics company that recently closed their Series B funding round. Their mission is to transform healthcare through data-driven insights that improve patient outcomes while reducing costs. With recent funding, they’re scaling their team to meet increasing demand from healthcare systems and insurance providers nationwide.
Role Overview
As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll work across product and strategy functions, interfacing with healthcare business leaders and the AI/ML team. Your primary focus will be on structuring opportunities, operationalizing data science initiatives, and driving product leadership in the healthcare analytics space. This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to deeply engage with the company’s strategic direction, ensuring seamless collaboration between technical teams and senior leadership. You will help shepherd healthcare analytics projects from concept to execution, with significant focus on predictive analytics initiatives currently underway.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects and work cross-functionally to create data-driven healthcare solutions, collaborating closely with directors, VPs, and C-level leaders
- Present strategic insights and context to senior leadership, helping guide decisions with meaningful, actionable healthcare data
- Lead the operationalization of AI/ML models for healthcare applications, from structuring the problem space to developing solutions that impact patient outcomes and business results
- Serve as a key point of contact for the AI/ML team’s projects, particularly those related to predictive models for healthcare provider and payor analytics
- Work closely with data scientists and technologists to develop innovative healthcare solutions, communicate results, and align teams around shared objectives
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a product leadership role within a healthcare startup or mid-sized company
- Impact Orientation: Ability to articulate and lead impact-focused projects, demonstrating clear results in healthcare analytics
- Business Acumen: Strong experience interfacing with healthcare business leaders, helping integrate AI/ML models with healthcare strategy and operations
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with analytics toolkits and some exposure to technical tools like SQL, Azure, and Python is a plus, but hands-on coding is not the focus
- Communication Skills: Comfortable interacting with senior healthcare leaders and translating complex insights into actionable healthcare business recommendations
