Job Title: Tax Manager

Position Overview:As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing tax engagements, with a specific focus on clients in the real estate industry. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to our diverse client base across multiple locations in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
- Tax Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for clients in the real estate sector to optimize financial outcomes.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, providing proactive advice to clients.
- Tax Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Real Estate Focus:
- Provide specialized tax guidance to clients in the real estate industry, addressing unique challenges and opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights and solutions to meet clients’ tax and financial goals.
- Multi-Location Leadership:
- Collaborate with teams across multiple locations in Los Angeles, ensuring consistency in service delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to tax professionals in various offices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax, preferably in real estate.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with tax planning and compliance for clients in the real estate industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
