Head of Corporate Communications

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Head of Corporate Communication for one of our global shipping clients. The candidate will lead the companys communications strategy to ensure a consistent and cohesive message aligned with business objectives. They will oversee both internal and external communications, including media relations, investor relations, brand management, executive communications, and crisis communication. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications and investor relations, with experience working in listed company.

Responsibilities

Communications Strategy

• Develop and implement annual communication initiatives, both internal and external.
• Manage and update the company’s website, intranet, social media platforms, and external distribution channels.
• Ensure accurate and current information across all communication platforms.
• Create and manage multi-media content including print, video, and web.
• Develop and manage media pitches, conference materials, and press releases.
• Collaborate on internal and external ESG reporting.
• Lead internal communications, including strategy updates, town halls, and creative content sharing for sea and onshore employees.
• Work with other entities on Group-wide communications initiatives, content provision, and event planning.

Media Management

• Build and maintain relationships with communications and media partners, serving as the key media contact.
• Support crisis media management and participate in the emergency response team.

Brand Management

• Oversee brand management and compliance for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Provide guidance on brand templates, guidelines, and communication initiatives.
• Manage communications and branding materials, including fleet lists, presentation templates, image databases, and corporate gifts.
• Lead corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, including charitable initiatives, community engagement, and sustainability programs.

Investor Relations/Capital Markets

• Plan and host quarterly earnings release calls.
• Ensure timely upload of earnings presentations, executive transcripts, and other materials to the Investor Relations microsite and media platforms.
• Draft and publish press releases for compliance purposes and support Investor Relations in conveying the company’s messages to the equity market.
• Maintain investor relations content on the company’s website and manage announcements on NYSE and Oslo stock exchanges.
• Oversee the creation and publication of the company’s annual report and sustainability report.

Requirements

• Degree holder with minimum 8 – 15 years of relevant corporate communications & investment relation experience.
• Prior experience in working in listed company is preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, presentation and digital production skills including audio, video and infographics.
• A self-starter driven to lead and enhance processes, capable of engaging stakeholders and open to feedback.
• A team player who is innovative, systematic, organized, and highly reliable.
• Preferably experienced in the maritime industry or B-to-B communications.
• Possesses strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
