Lead Auditor – TISAX
Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Auditor TISAX to join our team on a freelance basis for planned audit activities in Croatia. This is a flexible, call-based engagement where you will lead TISAX audit campaigns for organizations operating in the defense, security, and aerospace sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Execute TISAX Audits: Design and conduct comprehensive TISAX audit programs in compliance with the Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange framework
- Lead Audit Teams: Direct and coordinate audit activities, manage auditor teams, and ensure consistent audit quality and TISAX methodology adherence
- Assessment & Reporting: Evaluate organizational compliance with TISAX requirements, identify non-conformities and security gaps, and prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations
- Security Evaluation: Assess information security maturity, data protection controls, and compliance with defense/security sector requirements
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate audit scope, timelines, and results to internal and external stakeholders, including defense and security industry clients
- Documentation & Evidence: Maintain audit records, evidence trails, and supporting documentation in strict accordance with TISAX standards and confidentiality requirements
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of audit processes and TISAX assessment methodologies based on lessons learned
Required Qualifications
- Mandatory: Valid TISAX Lead Auditor certification (Auditor für Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange)
- Minimum 5+ years of professional auditing experience, with at least 3+ years specifically in TISAX assessments
- Fluent English (written and spoken);
- Availability: Flexible schedule to accommodate planned audit campaigns on a call-basis
- Security Clearance Eligibility: Ability to work with defense and security sector organizations (background check may be required)
