About the location:
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia will feature 95 keys and 25 branded residential homes, 8 distinct F&B outlets, all thoughtfully designed to reflect a contemporary interpretation of the Dominican Republic’s natural beauty. Wellness will be a defining pillar of the property, delivering a holistic experience that harmonizes with the natural environment while enhancing overall wellbeing through the restorative power of nature. The sustainable luxury destination is located on a 60-acre (24 hectare) site along the pristine beachfront of Playa Esmeralda in northeastern Dominican Republic, along the southern shores of Samaná Bay. A site of breathtaking natural beauty, Tropicalia is home to a diverse ecosystem of white-sand beaches; crystalline, aquamarine water and coral reefs; mountains, forests, mangroves, lagoons and rivers; a working coconut plantation; and an organic farm.
This role will be East Coast US based and operate remotely while requiring regular on‑site travel to the property as needed. The designated office location is still to be determined.
Target start date for this role is August 1.
What you will do

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve hotel budget targets.

Recruit,leadand manage the sales team to ensure sales activities are aligned to achieve overall goals andobjectives.

Establish andmaintainpositive relationships with guests, vendors, colleagues, and theworldwidesales network.

Monitor sales production, analyze market data, and adjust sales strategies to meet planned goals.

Review and approvegroup contracts, consideringroomavailability, rates, and revenueobjectives.

Participate in trade shows, promotional events, and networking opportunities to develop new markets andidentifypotential clients.

Analyze sales performance data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.

Develop andmaintainrelationships with key accounts, ensuring retention andrepeatbusiness.

Serve as the primary relationship owner and strategic lead for top East Coast travel industry accounts, driving market share growth and sustained revenue performance.

Conduct performance evaluations and follow up with sales and events personnel for development and coaching opportunities.

Perform all supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned, including but notlimited to labor and payroll, compliance training, safety instruction and guidance on expense and travel management.

Direct sales activities of the Hotel to achieve budgeted and assigned goals.

Monitor andidentifycurrent and future business trends toinsureprofitable sales in periods of low and high demand.

Assistin the development of the annual marketing plan.

Ensure project and business plans are executed for all market areas asstatedin the hotel marketing plan with emphasis on increasing sales and profitability.

Supervise the installation of sales and marketing procedures and ensure the hotel is following all company Minimum Operating Standards.

Assist theCommercial Directorinestablishingand directing the development of annual sales goals; ensures goals and incentive programs are fully understood and implemented for maximum achievement.

What you will bring

Proven leadership experience in hotel sales, preferably in the luxury hospitality market forminimumof two years.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Results-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for sales and achieving targets.
